Copy of a note, in French, from the French Ambassador on the subject of a decree to regulate mining, hunting and fishing rights in the Crozets Islands. Also states that the Crozet Islands, Kerguelen, Saint Paul and Amsterdam Islands have been placed in the maritime surveillance zone of the Indian Ocean naval forces and that Adélie Land has been placed in the maritime surveillance zone of the Pacific Ocean naval forces.
